Blood Pressure

It has been high but I don’t know why. And I mean stroke and heart attack high! My doctor had increased my med dosage an few months back but did not help.

I saw her last week and it was still high:142/100. So, she added another medication and in only 6 days it has come down to near normal numbers. This morning it was 127/83. I was very pleased,and, I feel better.

I am also feeling better because I am not driving a school bus any longer. I do have to find another job though. You know how when you’re working, and the money is good, and you start spending more and making new bills? Yeah, I did that. I am not completely sunk yet. I can conceivably pay off the debts I’ve created very slowly, or I can get a job and pay them off like I was doing before.

However, I am not worried about it. I will find a job eventually, even if I have to deliver pizzas in my car. And that’s not really a bad gig. I only need so much to get by. Being retired military helped immensely.

The only thing that really disappoints me is that I will not be able to buy that new motorcycle I have been wanting for the last 11 months. I wanted to buy a Harley Davidson. After test riding a few I can’t stop thinking about them. One day I will though.

Anyway, that is about all I have to say on this post. I feel like my health is improving. I am getting better and better reacquainted with my diet. And I am slowly but surly taking measures to improve.

Day 1 – This is ME Today

Today I weigh 260 pounds, and I look like this:

I feel terrible and I have lots of aches and pain, especially in my back shoulders and neck.

It is 16:07 in the afternoon and I only woke up at around 15:30. My lower back was hurting so I did some side leg raises in bed before crawling out. Since I was kind of warmed up, I got on my total gym simply did some squats. I didn’t count out reps, just two sets of about 3-4 minutes. After that while laying on the total gym still, I did a set of about 20 sit-ups. It helped that I was on an incline angle, so I wasn’t coming from a 90 degree, flat on my back.

I have not eaten anything. I felt a hunger pain while still in bed but didn’t do anything about it, so it passed. I am inclined to continue the day with out eating. I don’t really have any good food to eat; I mean nutritious. Right now I really feel like a fast is in order to try and give my body a break from processing the crap I usually eat. So I’m going to see how long I can go with just water.

I need to change the stuff I eat. The problem I face is that I’m on a fixed income and the right foods cost more than the crappy stuff that I normally can afford to buy. What to do, what to do.

First I’m asking Father right now to help me, because I don’t know what I am doing. Please show me what I can change in order to make things better with my body. Show me foods that I can buy that are better for me.

My cholesterol levels are too high. My blood pressure is not right. I am taking way too many medications, which I think are poisonous to my system.

Second, I think I need to cleanse my body and system. I want to use the Master Cleanse, which is a lemonade diet created by Stanley Burroughs back in the early 1900’s. I have used it before and it seemed to work very well. It helps the body to detoxify and release the stored up trash. It also seems to promote overall health issues, including high blood pressure. I don’t want to die before my time, at least not by my own hand.

So, that’s where I am today. Hopefully I will have done something different tomorrow that will affect my health in a positive way.
