Well, I seem to have gotten my blood glucose under control. For the last week, it has been around 87-90, even after eating. Apparently though, just because you get this particular malfunction under control, doesn’t mean everything else automatically comes together.
I can’t seem to make it happen with my blood pressure. Without medication, it seems to want to skyrocket. My goal is to eliminate as many medications as I can. I don’t like taking them. Some of them make me feel shitty. What’s the point of getting your blood glucose and blood pressure under control with meds and still feeling like crap?

The fasting has worked wonders with my high blood glucose. I’m only guessing that the blood pressure will follow suit at some point. But for now, I have to settle for medications. I am open to any suggestions. Leave a comment below.
Of course weight loss was the catalyst that started this whole thing. Maybe when I lose more weight it will help my blood pressure. I’m not doing everything right just yet. The fasting works even if I’m not necessarily eating the right stuff. But trying the eat the right stuff all the time takes the joy out of eating. However, I will keep at it.
Sometimes I think the keys to being healthy are just a myth and no one really knows what the hell is going on, and, that all these perfectly built people telling how they got healthy, have never actually been unhealthy or fat like the rest of us, EVER!
I’m frustrated is all. VENTING! I’m out ’til next time.
You’re doing so well, keep your chin up ๐ Well done on getting you glucose under control, that’s fantastic! I’m sure your blood pressure will follow suit ๐ I know what you mean when we see the healthy looking people, and wonder if they’ve ever had an unhealthy body, and Lord, YES! I’ve been being relatively healthy eating for a good couple of months now, and exercising, and yet, I just feel achy and knackered! Hopefully the more we lose the better we feel!
Thanks, jmarie. I really hope that I can eventually reach that healthy weight and feel good at the same time. As I always say, Aging is not for cowards!
You will, you’re determined ๐
