15 Weeks on the Keto Diet
This is what I look like after 15 weeks on the keto-diet. I cannot see any difference in my appearance. I can tell you that in 15 weeks I have lost a total of 31.7 lbs, an inch around the waist & hips, an inch and a half from my upper thighs, and 2-1/4 inch from my left arm, and 1 inch from the right. That’s progress. I still have not encountered any problems. It is not a hard diet to maintain.
Some people have reported problems with diarrhea. Others have said they have been constipated. I have experienced some mild constipation, but nothing severe. Other than that, I have had no problems.
I am averaging about 2-3 pounds of weight loss per week. If I continue at this rate I think I can reach my goal weight of 167 around the first of March, 2017, which is the month I started this year. So, today begins the 5th month and I think I’m doing pretty good.
I haven’t even begun to go to the gym on a regular basis. I have been twice. I did some light weight lifting and some cardio. Now that my surgery is done, and I expect the doctor to release me for physical activity on July 5th, I can start strength training more regularly.
I still am having some problems with my left shoulder. I won’t be pushing too hard.
