It has been seven days since my doctor’s visit. Since that time, my pain has been significantly less. Around the time of the doctor’s visit, I managed to get back on a good sleep schedule. Proper sleep can make all the difference.
I am not pain-free by any means. I guess it’s the price of getting old. My doctor ordered x-rays of my lower back and left hip, where I felt most of the pain. There have been no significant changes since my back surgery in 2010. There is some arthritis and degeneration of the joints in my spine. The bottom line is I will likely be dealing with this pain for life.
Since returning to a good sleep cycle, I’ve resumed eating and fasting correctly. My stomach, digestive system, and bowel movement are normal again; no more pains and discomfort.
Eating right and regularly fasting helps to alleviate pain. I am convinced inflammation in my body is reduced when I fast.
The x-ray results showed NOTHING! Basically, I have arthritis, which seems to worsen when I don’t get proper rest or eat right. There are no fractures or new injuries. However, after 2 hours of riding my motorcycle, it feels like my pelvis is coming apart. I won’t be giving it up. It is the only fun in my life now.
On another note, a new Planet Fitness is opening at most 15 minutes from my house. The gym I normally try to go to is 45 minutes away, and it was free (for me). Planet Fitness isn’t free, but it isn’t expensive, either. And 15 minutes away? How can you be that? I no longer have an excuse for not going.
Easier said than done, I know. I will definitely make an effort, though. Alas, aging is not for cowards.
