8 Weeks and Counting

8 weeksWow! For a couple of days this week I ended up at Wendy’s and Hardee’s. I didn’t blow my numbers but its not the healthiest food I could have chosen. The problem is I live nearly 30 mile away from the gym. There are closer gyms to me but I have free access to the gym at the Charleston Naval Weapons Station.

I have to start bring a protein shake or protein bar or something because, after the workout in the gym I am ravenous. And between me and home are multiple fast food restaurants begging me to come in and have my fill of saturated fats and sugar.

I didn’t totally blow it. I did the best I could with the menus offered. Just doesn’t leave me any room to splurge for the rest of the day. Anyway, I will get things under control. I have never been so determined.

I have included an 8 week picture. I am hoping to start seeing some real changes soon. I am seeing subtle changes in different parts of the body. And I am holding at a 10 pound loss thus far.
