Tomorrow will end week 7 for me in the gym. I am down 10 pounds, and I have probably grown some muscle, though they cannot be seen at this point. They will be seen one day.
The first day I went to the gym I could not last 10 minutes on the treadmill or elliptical machine. I am now able to last 45 minutes on the elliptical. I am not able to run. I’m still too heavy. I am getting plenty of exercise on the elliptical though.
Still working the muscles all over with the weights, and having a pretty good time doing it. It creates some extreme hunger. Eating 4 to 5 small meals a day keeps my metabolism burning like crazy.
It will probably take a year or so to get what I want. Right now I am committed to doing that. I have included a picture of me at 7 weeks. I don’t want to, but, when I succeed I want people to know how far I had to go. I can’t believe far out of shape let myself get. For 7 weeks I have been training hard and eating right (for the most part). Believe it or not, I am actually looking much better.
You’re awesome! Keep up the great work. One great way to measure milestones is to get a complete medical exam including blood work, then use those bio markers every 6 months to measure your condition on the inside of your cuddly self. the motivation thus takes on a quantifiable KPI.
Already on that. Thanks
